| Overview |
| Learning mathematics for 3-6 year olds can often be reduced to worksheets, cute activities and rote learning. Our four weeks together explore the pedagogy of mathematising - honouring young children’s capacity to engage as mathematicians to explore and make sense of the mathematics that surrounds them. We will explore mathematics through the lenses of play, playful learning and inquiry, balancing theory with practical strategies and examples from learning spaces. |
