| Explore the foundational concepts of service learning along with the Sustainable Development Goals. Hear stories that both inspire and give credibility to the value and impact of this pedagogy. | During this action packed day, experience diverse ways to integrate service learning into your curriculum (it’s easier than you think!). Take a deep dive into the process of reflection to understand its value and necessity, plus methods that attract students. | |||||||||

| Cathryn Berger Kaye, M.A., CBK Associates, brings learning to life through high-level engagement, best teaching practices, and content that matters. In-person and virtually, Cathryn travels globally to explore ways schools can elevate youth taking meaningful action as global citizens. She is the author of The Complete Guide to Service Learning and two books with environmental advocate Philippe Cousteau. Her work includes consulting with the IBO as a lead co-author of the CAS Guide for the Diploma Programme. She has created a social and emotional series of learning experiences for K-12 that supports wellbeing and Advisory, illuminating how meaningful conversations and connections provide youth with a safe way to be fully present and known by adults and peers.
